Indoor picnic!

We had grand plans for a Fourth of July picnic at the Evanston fireworks show, but it rained most of the day Saturday and didn't clear up until after leaving-time (at which point it was beautiful but too late). So we did a picnic in the living room instead, which was still nice.



A patriotic color scheme, some yummy food, some old folk/country music, fireworks on TV (and from some of the neighbors--is that even legal in the city?), and Rocky (the first one, which I had never seen).



All in all, it was a very nice holiday!

Also, we have a new toy!
